Originating from the European Art Nouveau movement at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, it abandoned traditional design styles and adopted decorative innovations such as flowers, vines, animals and plants from nature. The organic and smooth curves represent a conscious return to the art of European Romanticism.
